This is an elementary level Japanese course suitable for those who have studied approx. 150 hours of Japanese before, and is the fourth course in the Marugoto series after A1-1, A1-2 and A2-1. It is a course for learners aged 18 years and over, who can take a course in English. Applicants living in Australia and other parts of Oceania will be given priority.
In the Katsudoo section of this course, you can gain practical communication skills for everyday situations by listening to a lot of Japanese as you practice speaking. Meanwhile, in the Rikai section, you can systematically learn how Japanese is used in communication. The objective is to gain a comprehensive Japanese ability that includes reading, listening, writing, and speaking. Please complete one lesson every seven days.
The following support is provided by tutors throughout the course.
・6 live lessons/class lessons (1 lesson every 2 weeks, including 1 orientation lesson)
・1 oral test
・Correction of assignments (2 Katsudoo and 8 Rikai assignments)
You will also meet other students who study Japanese in the course group and live lessons! Through the group noticeboard, you can study while communicating with your tutors and students that you learn with.
If you want to thoroughly study Japanese by yourself, while enhancing your practical skills with tutor support, this course is for you!
