Marugoto A1-2 Tutor Support Course
Outline
This is a course to comprehensively learn about the Japanese language and culture. In this course, you can self-study online while a regularly having your assignments corrected and receiving live lessons from a tutor.
In the Katsudoo section of this course, you can gain practical communication skills for everyday situations by listening to a lot of Japanese as you practice speaking. Meanwhile, in the Rikai section, you can systematically learn how Japanese is used in communication. The objective is to gain a comprehensive Japanese ability that includes reading, listening, writing, and speaking. It is recommended to keep working on one lesson a week.
There are three types of supports offered in this course.
・5 live lessons (once every two weeks)
・1 oral test
・1 assignment from Katsudoo and 8 from Rikai, to be reviewed by your tutor
This course also includes Group. Through the group noticeboards, you can study while communicating with friends that you learn with and tutors.
If you want to thoroughly learn A1 level Japanese by yourself by enhancing your practical skills with the tutor support, this course is just for you!
You can also make friends who study Japanese language and culture in the group lesson!
■About the Student Selection by Lottery
Students for this course will be selected by lottery. For those who wish to apply for a class, first carefully read the course outline in full. Then, within the designated application time period, please click the 'Course Registration' button and complete the application.
Note, results of the selection process are expected to be sent to the email address registered with 'Minato' on October 2（Fri.） around 10:00 a.m. (Japanese Time).

This course is one level higher than the Marugoto A1-1 (Katsudoo & Rikai) Self-Study Course.
If you don't know what level of Marugoto courses to take, try taking the Japanese Test for Course Recommendation.

About Live Lesson

Live lessons are offered with one tutor for 6 students. Each lesson is around 60 minutes long and there is one lesson for every topic (6 in total including a course orientation and an oral test). Lessons cannot be rescheduled.The live lessons are based on conversations learned in the self-study materials and written assignments, so you will need to have completed the self-study for each topic before the live lesson.

■Oral test
The oral test is conducted one-on-one after all of the live lessons have been completed. The date will be decided by consultation with the tutor in charge after the course begins. It is usually about 20 minutes.
Class 1: Wednesday December 16, between 10:00 a.m ‐12:00 p.m. (Japanese Time), about 20 minutes.
Class 2: Wednesday December 16, between 15:00-17:00 (Japanese Time), about 20 minutes.
Class 3: Thursday December 17, between 10:00 a.m -12:00 p.m. (Japanese Time), about 20 minutes.
Class 4: Thursday December 17, between 15:00-17:00 (Japanese Time), about 20 minutes.
