This is a course where you make a speech in Japanese.
The theme of the speech is 'Sightseeing'. Would you like to try making a speech in Japanese about a sightseeing spot in your country that you recommend?
You will learn in a step-by-step process while also receiving tutor-support, so even those who have never given a speech in Japanese before can feel at ease taking part.

Course Objective "Can-do"
1. Able to write a short, simple speech about a sightseeing spot in own country if indicated by the speech structure.
2. Able to give a short, simple speech that has been practised if allowed to sometimes refer to notes.
3. Able to answer simple questions after the presentation if allowed to sometimes ask for repitition or explanation.
4. Able to understand the general content when listening to a short, simple speech, and ask simple questions to confirm details etc., if visual aids are provided.

About Live Lesson
■ Live lesson
The live lesson has one tutor for 5 students. The lesson is 1 hour long. Live lessons are scheduled by class. Please choose a class that you can participate in, when you register for the course. At that time, please be sure to confirm the correct time in the country or region where you live. Classes and live lessons dates may not be changed for any reason whatsoever.
Class 1: 9:00-10:00 (Japanese Time) Mar 8 (Wed.), Apr 4 (Tue.)
Class 2: 14:00-15:00 (Japanese Time) Mar 8 (Wed.), Apr 4 (Tue.)

Live lessons are conducted using the web-meeting system Zoom<https://zoom.us/>. The Zoom lesson room can be accessed via an assigned URL, so there is no need to open an account. However, for any first time users the program will need to be installed in advance.
The system requirements (necessary bandwidth) for the group video conference using Zoom are as follows.
Upload Speed 1.0 Mbps / Download Speed 600 kbps
For those who do not know the bandwidth of their internet connection, please use the following site to conduct a speed test. (This will transfer you to an external site.)
