This is a course for learning expressions of boys and girls used within an anime/manga school setting.
This is for A2 level people with an interest in anime/manga.

Step 1 Learn boys and girls expressions with video
Step 2 Read the manga within 'School Expressions by Scene' on the 'Japanese in Anime & Manga ' web site
Step 3 Speak the script lines role playing as a boy or a girl
Step 4 Review what you have learnt

Course Objective "Can-do"

1. Know the differences between expressions used by the Japanese anime/manga characters.
2. Able to read a simply written manga script and generally understand the content.
3. Able to understand the situation and speak the lines like the character.

Teaching Materials Used

Learning is done interactively using videos, web sites, and quizzes, etc.

This course was created using the web site 'Japanese in Anime & Manga' (http://anime-manga.jp/), developed by The Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Kansai.

Completion Requirements

Passing Score: score of 60% or higher

The allocation of points is as follows.

 Step 1 Learn expressions  30%
 Step 2 Read Manga  30%
 Step 3 Speak the script lines role playing  30%
 Step 4 Review what you have learnt  10%
